Utilizing the Versatile Spaces at The Opportunity Central (The OC)
This year, Forney ISD kicked off another amazing school year with a series of events held at The Opportunity Central (The OC), showcasing the versatility and functionality of this incredible facility.
Convocation in the Arena: We gathered the entire district for our annual Convocation in the Arena at The OC, a grand space with 6,500 cushioned stadium seats that set the stage for a powerful and inspiring start to the year. The energy in the arena was electric as we came together to celebrate our community and set the tone for the months ahead.
New Coaches Training in Classrooms: As we welcomed new coaches to the district, they participated in specialized training sessions held in the state-of-the-art classrooms at The OC. These spaces are designed with collaboration in mind, equipped with the latest technology to support interactive and hands-on learning experiences.
Coaches Inservice in the Banquet Hall: Our coaches also gathered in the elegant banquet hall for their inservice training. This space provided a comfortable and professional setting, ideal for deep dives into strategy, team building, and professional development, allowing our coaches to prepare for the upcoming sports seasons effectively.
Back-to-School Rally in the Arena and Classrooms: The back-to-school rally was another highlight event, utilizing both the Arena and classrooms at The OC. The rally energized students, staff, and families, offering a dynamic combination of large-scale presentations in the Arena and more focused, interactive sessions in the classrooms.
The Opportunity Central truly lives up to its name, offering an array of spaces that cater to a wide range of events and activities. Whether it's district-wide gatherings, specialized training, or community rallies, The OC provides the perfect environment to support and enhance the Forney ISD experience.
