Forney ISD and The OC Shine at Educators Rising National Conference!

Forney ISD and The OC made their mark at the Educators Rising National Conference in Washington, D.C., and we couldn't be prouder. Our talented TAFE team, consisting of Harvey Ventura, Liv Shuler, and Jordan Hubbard, along with their dedicated teachers Shellie Massengale and Melanie Miller, received their first-ever invitation to Nationals, and they did not disappoint!

With over 3,000 students from across the nation competing in both group and individual events, the competition was fierce. However, our students rose to the occasion and achieved remarkable success.

Harvey Ventura earned an impressive 2nd place in the Educators Rising Moment Varsity Spanish Presentation. His heartfelt presentation, delivered entirely in Spanish, showcased his passion for becoming an educator.

Jordan Hubbard brought home a FIRST PLACE Blue Ribbon for his Varsity Interactive Bulletin Board in Math! His creativity and dedication shone through in this innovative project.

We are incredibly proud of the hard work and achievements of Harvey, Liv, Jordan, and their teachers. Their success at the Educators Rising National Conference is a testament to their commitment and talent. We look forward to seeing them back in Forney ISD as educators one day, inspiring the next generation.
