Early Childhood Education

After careful consideration of various factors, including program capacity and campus logistics, Forney ISD has made the decision not to offer tuition-based PreK for the community in the 2025-2026 school year. We remain committed to providing high-quality educational opportunities and will continue to explore options that best serve the needs of our students and families. The space will be dedicated to the expanding Forney ISD Academy program.

The Early Childhood Center is currently located on the west side of The OC with its own secure entrance, students and families will love the indoor play structure and OC JUNIOR exhibit featuring hands-on learning activities for the youngest entrepreneurs.

All 2024-2025 Pre-K Classes will be FULL DAY CLASSES at The OC and the neighborhood schools. There are 2 types of Pre-K:

  • Free Qualifying Pre-K paid for by the State and

  • Tuition-Based Pre-K for those not eligible for Qualifying Pre-K.
